British slopestyle skiier Katie Summerhayes has narrowly missed out on a medal at the Sochi Winter Olympics.
The 18-year-old from Sheffield qualified in third place for the competition's final, with two impressive runs scoring 81.40 and 84.00 respectively. She was hoping to get Britain's second slopestyle medal, following the success of Jenny Jones who clinched a bronze medal in the snowboarding last week.
The amazingly talented teenager, who has previously spoken of how she idolises fellow Sheffield Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill, still has plenty of years to get a medal under her belt.
The winner of the slopestyle skiing was Canadian Dara Howell, who posted a massive 94.2 on her first run. American Devin Logan took silver, with another Canadian, Kim Lamarre, coming in bronze.
